Then keep reading! \n\n\n\nThis unique class has been crafted for people who are looking for something different; self-exploration\, a time to bond with family or friends and your inner child. Let this be the start of something new for you! \n\n\n\nThe Women’s Tree Climbing Workshop enthusiastically created a one-day tree climbing experience. This program provides a rare opportunity to just show up\, be curious and excited to be in the canopy. Come learn from the standing people\, about yourself\, and indulge in a magical tree canopy adventure! \n\n\n\nRegistration is $300/person and is non-refundable. Use of all tree climbing equipment is included. Participants must be 16 and older. There are no prerequisites\, but must be able to remain outdoors for 5 hours. Please bring a lunch\, snacks and water and dress wearing pants\, socks and light duty hiking boots. In case of storms or heavy rain\, this program will be held on Monday\, September 7th.

DESCRIPTION:This full-day class is designed for climbers looking to strengthen their aerial rescue skills through realistic\, hands-on scenarios. The first half of the day will focus on aerial rescue fundamentals\, including incident access\, scene assessment\, and emergency response procedures. In the afternoon\, participants will work through a variety of live aerial rescue scenarios designed to challenge communication\, problem-solving\, and rescue execution. \n\n\n\nThis is a fully hands-on participation class — students must arrive ready to climb and actively participate in live rescue exercises throughout the day. SUMMARY:New Jersey Tree Climbing Competition
DESCRIPTION:Registration is closed. \n\n\n\nYou must be a NJAISA Member to compete. If you are not a member\, click here to join today! \n\n\n\nThe NJ Chapter of the ISA is preparing to host our annual Tree Climbing Competition\, which will be held in Central Park of Morris County\, NJ. \n\n\n\n\nFriday\, June 12 competitors will begin with waivers\, a gear inspection\, and 1 or 2 preliminary events. We will begin no earlier than 10:00am and will end by 5:00pm on Friday. Updates will be communicated via email from the committee as we get closer to the event.\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 13 will begin with a walk-through promptly at 7:30am. Please plan to arrive by 7:00am on Saturday. The competition events will begin no later than 8:30am\, with competitors split into groups that rotate through each preliminary event together.\n\n\n\nOn Saturday afternoon\, June 13 preliminary scores from the judges will be tallied and competitors will be ranked by the scoring team. Preliminary medalists will be recognized and awarded. The top three New Jersey competitors will advance to the final\, master’s challenge.\n\n\n\nBy late Saturday afternoon\, June 13 the master’s challenge will be set up and begin. Each finalist will complete the master’s challenge before scores are tallied and the NJ State Tree Champion is announced.\n\n\n\n\nThe top men’s and women’s finishers from NJ on June 13 will qualify for and represent the NJ Chapter in the International Tree Climbing Competition (held October 9-11 in St. Louis\, MO). \n\n\n\nA few guidelines for your review: \n\n\n\nJune 19 + 20 is the pre-determined rain date for this event (the following Friday & Saturday) \n\n\n\nThis event is for New Jersey arborists looking to qualify and represent our chapter at the ITCC. \n\n\n\nWe define “New Jersey arborists” as chapter members who live or work full-time in NJ as long as they attest they will not represent another chapter at the ITCC. \n\n\n\nRegistration will be limited to 25 competitors.
