In Memory of Laura K. Chisholm
The New Jersey Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (NJISA) Board and members extend their love and deepest condolences to the Chisholm family with the passing of Laura Chisholm. Laura was the matriarch of modern arboriculture in our state, and beyond.
Many of our members knew her as a Licensed Tree Expert, Co-owner of the Aspen Tree Expert Company, and President of the NJ Society of Licensed Tree Experts. Laura helped run the NJ Tree Climbing Championship for decades, but also she had a thriving, full life outside of arboriculture. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and active member of her church.
Laura is sorely missed, but her legacy will live on through the lives she enriched, and the beautiful family she created. May those who knew her be comforted by the wonderful memories she’s given us, and may she rest in peace.
